I know from the packages I track they are scanned when picked up, scanned when they hit loca...

Small miracle that any SS made prime time. Either Harmen is a really good actor or a true woodworker but I swear I could see love in his eyes for the machine.

The screw you are talking about does vibrate off if not kept tight at all times. I've picked up the knob up off the floor a couple of times after removing the upper guard and blade to work with an accessory tool.

The main reason I came to the forum today was to ask if people were using their sawguards. My wife is addicted to watching home improvement shows. They never seem to use the saw guards. Many times they have inexperienced homeowners using power tools with no guards. I cringe everytime. It just looks ...

I think Mike has it right. I recently say a documentery on the building of the Gateway Arch in St. Louis. One of the things I remeber the most is that with todays OSHA restrictions it would be impossible to rebuild but I don't believe any one was killed in the building of it at the time common since...

What with the sanding disk spinning toward you and the sharp end of the chisel or turning tool facing into the spin a quick dig into the sandpaper and velcro backing could go badly quickly. It's to easy and inexpensive to have both a disk for sanding with velcro and a disk for sharpening without vel...

A few years ago I a bought a used unit on eBay. It was an older unit with the cast iron table. I wanted to bring it up to current standards and got the aluminum table, new tires, and cool blocks along with the circle cutter. While doing the upgrade was fun, in the end I spent almost as much as a new...

Shopsmith Thin Kerf Sawblades

Wow! What a difference they make. I bought my MK5 in 1994 and as an extra got five SS saw blades. I used these until 2006 and they preformed good until worn out. I then invested in a Freud General purpose blade for all of my cutting. It did well until about a month ago when one of the teeth fell off...
