E-10 Moter repair parts
My older neighbor, (and I'm 72) foned me tonight for help in getting motor/capacator/condenser replacements for his original purchase E-10. Where's the best place to get these kind of parts? E-bay, SS... What came to my mind... Is the E-10 capable of taking the Mark 5 power head? I'm getting the new...

Just to let you all know, my Mk 5 is dated from '85 and growing weaker. I did not do a scientific cost benefit analysis (my bride wasn't near), but in her absence, concluded that the Power-Pro was the way to go. Just to see the added improvement(s), sold me. It's for the Grandkids
Many eons ago, our first son was born in Germany. That same day he acquired a Fleischmann train set. We also gained two more children over three years and even more HO gauge trains. Santa always set up the train layout which wrapped around our “real” tree(s) on Xmas eve after the tribe went to bed. ...

replacing the band saw tires
Nearly a year ago there was a tread in equipment forum that delt with the problem of removing the rubber tires. Try the May 07 time frame. I tried a search function without success but I know there's a lot of suggestions in that volley.

Biscuit joiner
I do think you missed the "free shipping," dates. I wait, in desk and computer defilade, for that rare SS offer. I've owned the SS biscuit joiner for over 4 years now. I use it making my contour benches. It really works for me. Now, if I can get rid of the 97+ of the white "stuff,&quo...

Re: the free shipping offer
I was waiting (and wishing) the this offer. Ordered the speed reducer this morning (on backorder, but the crummy weather here would keep from firing up the SS in any event).

What SS piece to buy, suggestions
Thanks for the suggestions. I've used the speed reducer when attending the TAs here in Milwaukee. Thinking about it, I've got more uses for it than the duplicator.

So what SS piece do I buy, suggestions....
This is my dumb question of the day. (And the Infernal Revenue Service $$ are in da bank.) Either- a) the lathe dupicater, or b) the speed reducer. I would like both, but can't afford that. In favor of the duplicater; Granddaughter needs a bat... and I can make chess sets for my kids plus a few $$ a...

1st I went out to my garage and looked for that adjustment point on my '86 SS. Not on mine. So I looked at the bench and base assembly blow-up in my '06 accessory catalog (Didn't get on '07 for some reason). SS shows a hex socket setscrew. I'm wondering if SS can provide retrofit instructions. I've ...
