Thanks for everyones response. After some fiddling I got it out. But reilble is correct. It does not work in the 3/4 miter slot in the table saw. It was worth a try because it is a superior miter gage than the one that came with the saw.

Miter gage washer removal

Does anyone know what size allen I need to remove the washer on a 510 miter gage? I want to use the miter gage in my Ridgid table saw. The screw looks like an allen on mine but it looks a little chewed up(previous owner). I can't find the size anywhere in the literature. I don't want to chew it up a...

Idea on quick change sanding disks

I only have one 12" sanding disk. I was thinking that if I put the velcro on the disk and used hardboards with velcro on the back and different grits on the front. All I would have to do is remove the hardboard to change grits. What do you guys think?

I would add a dust port to it. I think I will make one to collect shavings when I turn pens.

Bandsaw setup correctly=no blade drift!

I didn't believe that a bandsaw should not have blade drift until I found this way of setting up a bandsaw. I always believed all the "experts" about blade drift. I have set up three different bandsaws following this way of setting up the blades and have no drift on any machine or blade! h...
