Thanks Do you have a manuel you could send me a copy of. The unit is pretty good overall as far as rust is concerned. The bearings are dried out. I am thinking of just squirting in some bearing lubercant for now. It did not come with much for attachments. Just a 5/8 arbor, and a partial lathe rest. ...

Hello

I picked up a mark 2. I thought that SS had a pdf file available. I am sure they don't sell any parts for it, except those that are the same as the mark v. Any help on a manual would be great.

It is copyright 1965 Bullentin No. 502301. You can down load a PDF file of the manual from shopsmith. I just did.

From the Owner's Manual I recieved with my Jigsaw. I have tried a few other numbers and they generaly come up not currently available.

Yes, I agree. I lost a knob and tried to order one. I would 10.00 to 15.00 for a knob that cost them like a 1.00 to make. Here I go again. I ended up making one. When there making 100% to 500% profit or more, on each part. It would pay to store the parts which would not take up that much storage. The large items like the arm, housing and table would not require a large inventory. Maybe they don't keep any of them. The common small replacement parts like the ...
