Re: New Control Sheave

Actually if I had looked at the "Service Notice" when I had placed the order for the idler shaft assembly it lets me know that I might need to replace my eccentric bushing. So in this case it was user error. I will have to order a replacement eccentric bushing.

New Control Sheave

I just had to buy a new complete control sheave for one of my units. The idler shaft now comes with two small bearings instead of one large bearing. Putting it back together but ran into a problem. The old design with the single large bearing used to be locked in place by tightening up a set screw o...

"Beatnik" pm'd me about 6:00 pm last night saying that he wanted the bandsaw if I could get him a price for shipping it to Forney, TX. So the bandsaw at this point has been officially taken unless he changes his mind. That still leaves the jointer open. "SKOU" since you responded...

Shopsmith Items for free!!

I have an older style bandsaw(for 500) and a jointer that I need to find a good home for. I needed more cutting depth so I just bought a stand alone bandsaw and I already have one jointer so I don't need a second one. I also have a couple of unused blades for the bandsaw and an extra set of cool blo...

I happen to see an ad from a lawyer firm about suing if you have ever been hurt using a table saw. They specifically mentioned the Saw-Stop ability to stop the blade if it touches you in the ad. I wander how much Saw-Stop is paying this law firm to go and drum up class action lawsuits against everyb...

Another Project Done!!

With our existing cat tree that we had she was jumping from the top level, about five feet, down to the floor when she was done eating her snack. And she is not as young as she used to be so I thought that I needed to make her a new cat tree...

There is a couple like that around Austin also. Priced way to high. They take a look at what a new one would cost and think they can get about 1/3 of a new price for an old one. They will be sitting on Craigslist for a long time.
