Re: foreign company owns 6 major toll roads

Hah... how about this for logic. Raleigh NC has an "inner" loop that consists for I40 breaking west around the city and I440 breaking east around the city. They built a larger outer loop that brakes off in Durham to the east that goes by I540 that's FREE and will eventually join up somewhe...

Re: Breathing new life into a 510

Uh... and then there were two? I happened to catch a 500 on sale for $200 that included a jointer. So now my neighbor is storing his new to him shopsmith in my garage as well. Breathing new life into a 510

My story starts with having watched SS demo's in the 80's. Back then you could find a demo being done in any random mall in the north east. Sadly most of the malls that grew up with have perished (I'm looking at you Frackville!), but it looks like Lowe's is now filling the gap. Right around 1980 my ...

Re: Mark V grinding noise by motor pulley.

First posting, and I plan to detail this later on boards, but I just restored my shopsmith last week and it had similar sounds from the same area. I had to pull the sheaves off the motor shaft as they were bound together due to sitting for so long. I also had to file the key that keeps them in place...
