Love your inlays. Something I only dream about. I have made boxes, but nothing that fancy.

Re: Table made from plywood scraps
Nice work! I enjoy making small projects that allow me to use up left over wood from my wood pile. The pile gets smaller and the project becomes a useful piece. Win-win. Thanks for sharing. Very nice job!
I have done a couple segmented bowls, but your precision amazes me. I will say that each time I learn something about turning and gluing.

Re: Belt Sander vs. Disc Sander
I agree. Belt sander all the way. My belt sander never leaves the shopsmith. The disk sander hangs on the wall. There are uses for the disk. I do segmented projects. With the miter gauge and belt, I can make fine adjustments. Not so with the disk. Anyway, my vote is belt sander. I could not have a h...

Re: Cheap Easy to Build Thickness Sander
Hi I have been following this thread with great interest. Firstly let me say, great to see so many shopsmiths in our shops. Secondly, has anyone given some thought to using the planner? just replace the cutter bar for a sander. you would have the feed already calculated, the speed of feed and more t...
