Is this toast?
I’m not a welder and think I might have to just find a new shell. Everything else works fine, and most replacements seem to cost around the same as an entire inexpensive used Craigslist system. Any thoughts or recommendations?

Re: Rollpin
The other smaller roll pin goes through the button on the speed control bearing.without this the clip would fly out.

Re: Rollpin
I just had this same problem happen to me. Although the roll pin that I found is not the roll pin that holds the speed controller together. It’s a smaller mystery roll pin...

Re: New SS
She's clean and lubed, wiring looks almost like new.
It seems the weight of the SS saw blade was overloading the machine.
I pulled the blade off and it runs fine. Any other ideas?

New SS
So I refurbed an old 10ER a few months back (brand new to the "sport") and I think I caught something infectious in the process. I go to the Doc and he tells me I have the SS bug... Fast forward a few months and what starts off as an fun and innocent family vacation to San Diego for a week...

Re: So I have this jointer attachment...
Yeah, I'm still learning all of the differences. Now that I'm looking at it I'm not sure it would even be able to mount to the modified table without modifying the actual jointer itself.
I may need to investigate this some more.

Re: So I have this jointer attachment...
I actually have the original (does not mount on tubes). I didn't mean to sound like I was knocking the mans work, or prices, either. I've come to find nothing but amazing and positive things about his work. I'm just a new guy trying not to overindulge at every turn. I'm quickly learning that the hob...

So I have this jointer attachment...
This thing came with my 10er in the "extras" bucket, but no mounting bracket. I've searched around and can't find one on eBay. I found a thread on here - someone commented that they are difficult to come by. I don't think I can make the full investment in the table mod, and if anyone has e...
