Re: Mark VII a start and a long ways to go..
Had 1st issues with the wheel setup. The Tinnerman clips gave way holding one of the casters to the shoe. I pushed it hard thinking I was stuck in a rut and the wheel mount bent as it was folding over. Anyway just posting to say this machine is so easy to work on bottom half. The ability to tilt eac...

The finer dust is well taken care of and that was my biggest concern. I make changes all the time, on everything it seems like. If I change for ...

Added 1 carriage for table storage and 1 to be able to move tailstock within the dust shroud. Not for everybody but works very w...

Re: Shapeways Cam for Mark VII
I still have an original so I think it would depend on cost. I would go with metal if it’s cost effective.

Re: 10ER Lathe dust collection and leather skirt
Finished up dust shroud and trying to figure out best port locations. I have one on top to hopefully keep the finer dust away from me. Thinking of just a 4” hose and a smaller “big gulp” at bottom. My thinking is it would catch a lot at position shown + easy to move around once in awhile similar to ...
