Success! Turns out I just needed to be more "assertive" with the hammer on the wrench! Plus it helped a ton to put it back on the SS and then brace against the way tubes as suggested.
Thank you all for the advise!

5/8" Arbor nut stuck
 Frustration reigns in the shop! I need to get the 5/8" arbor adaptor off of my tablesaw blade however, it is being difficult. So questions: 1. Is that thing reverse threaded like the Shopsmith Arbor? As in which way loosens the darn nut. 2. Any good advise on getting things unstuck? ...

Re: Bandsaw blade problems...burning
You guys are the best! Sure enough, I took the blade off this morning, did the recommended twisting and Ta-Da! the pointy bits are now going the right way and it cuts smoothly! I had no idea you could do that to a blade and in over a decade of having my SS, I've never had it happen before. Just show...

Bandsaw blade problems...burning
Ok, I know I'm not that bright but this one is a bit odd. I ordered a new blade from SS for the bandsaw, a 521986. Got it, unpackaged it and fitted it to the bandsaw. I'm at least bright enough to put the pointy parts forward and then tension and it all seemed good. Did a test cut on pine, no proble...

Quilt Ladder Rack
The latest SS project! The wife is a busy quilter and needed yet more hanging space so found this project online. The best part is that I finally got to use the horizontal boring function of my SS. I've had my SS since '95 and never got to use it! Made drilling for the threaded inserts a breeze!

those are beautiful! Did you design yourself or get plans? If you designed yourself and would share, I'd love the plans for those!
