I'm a fan of paint stripper. Will remove anything and I'm referring to the non enviro friendly version. The enviro friendly version couldn't strip a porn star.

That drill bit is sad. I must say I've had this same thing happen. Got a china set, full set that is, all standard sizes by the 1/16. Sharpened 2 on the drill doctor and went to work. Granted, these are supposed to be hss. Got started on the hole, a little cutting fluid on some mild steel and the dr...

How about a torch, like an oxy acetylene torch. Works almost every time for me on anything so rusted it fails to move. Heat the part it goes into and get it good and hot, then turn, wiggle etc. Not recommended for soft metals though, or if so, use a propane torch. But typically these metals don't ru...

Didn't miss it at all. Know just what it's supposed to mean.
Just saying, if you are Putin, or any other leader, looking in at America and we tout our "exceptionalism", without the context, it sounds like we are chest beating.
That's what I'm saying.

I think this american exceptionalism stuff is overrated. We are not exceptional. At least not from the outside looking in. Putin doesn't see the exceptionalism. It's like we think we are the hottest girl in school but the one dude who doesnt agree is the one with the problem. Putin is that dude..Who...

Its a general statement..but one Ive come to trust. It does indicate where they lean, and that tends to tell me enough. Fair? maybe not, but in a sea of candidates, I have to sort them somehow. And yes Ive liked Dems before. But don't seem to find any now. And a guy up here, last name Connolly, set ...

She's got no idea of how the little people live. A career politician and married to one who know nothing what it's like down here under 100k.
Term limits. I have no idea how anyone could vote for her...or any democrat.

Or, use a carbide tipped masonry bit. This will drill hardened steel. Doubt that's hardened though. A regular HSS split point bit at 135 degrees will do fine. Speed coincides with the diameter of the bit. Drill press works best. If the bit just spins it will heat up and dull. The grinding technique ...

Rust is typical on machines stored outside. Not a deal breaker unless severe and very pitted. Progressive sanding with 600 up to 1200 and on will restore them to like new condition normally.

The plot continues to thicken then...so I guess dual voltage means 110 and 220 motor (like the one on this machine) and a 110 only is single voltage (like my old south bend lathe motor we worked on some time back). Jpg, you could do up a write up of some of this and make some of us very happy. Like ...
