It is hard to tell from your pictures how the chips really look. A sharp planner should produce shavings rather than chips. These shavings are not long but rather short peelings from the wood. Auto Planer(M1B-250TH) - Suzhou Taihu Power Tools Group Co.
I recently acquired a used (for free) 10" planer made by the Suzhou Taihu Power Tools Group Co. I do not have the manual so I have no idea about maintenance, or how to remove the blade, etc. I haven't had any planing capabilities until now. I realize this machine is probably considered junk by ...

Biscuit Jointer
It was the biscuit jointer. Total shop had to hand over all of there inventory to Shopsmith. I have one I purchased from Shopsmith for around $60. You can tell the difference as it will have made in Dayton, Ohio crossed out with a silver sticker on the Shopsmith label. This is all very interesting....
