Assuming you mean the old Mark VII. Real estate says location, location, location. In mark VIIs; condition, condition, condition. I have one in great condition. If the gear rack works and you want to go to vertical mode. Move the headstock to the center and tip it up, a lot easier to do. Then you ca...

10 inch blades

The maximum blade diameter for the 10ER is 8-1/4 inches. There might be room enough for a 10" but it wouldn't be able to cut anywhere close to the full depth of a 8" one.

You need to get to the 10ER group on Yahoo. Thy have lots of info that you seem to need. They can also connect you with the Vintage Machinery group who have most all of the 10ER manuals.

The magnetic device prevents re starts after a power outage. The big red button is easy to hit. If you had a commercial use ...

Hope not

The pictures don't show it but I hope you didn't cut down 10ER tubes. You will get a lot of flack if you did. Being thicker they are in great demand. Mark V tubes would have probably worked just as well for a short span of a mini. All of that said personally I defend your right to do as you please, ...

A Buy!

In the Minneapolis listing there is one from June 28 for $150. It is for a 10ER and while not great at that price, what makes it special is the jointer and the special bracket (which is rare). 10ER fans take note

a few more comments

In regard to the outlet on the back of the headstock, the outlets are hot anytime the unit is plugged in. Although it might be nice to turned on and off with the headstock if you wanted to plug a shopvac to run with the headstock. Now for JPG's comment, when trying the cover I mounted on my old unit...
