It is 3 dimensional. 1/8" x 1" x 6".

Re: Can i cut aluminum bar stock with dado blade?

Thanks all. The bar stock is around 1/8" thick maybe a little more. I am only going to put notches in the stock. I can do it with a hack saw or a jig saw. I only have four pieces to cut and I want to put 5 (1/2 inch deep 1/4 wide) notches in the stock. I was only thinking of using the SS to mak...

Can i cut aluminum bar stock with dado blade?

I have some one inch aluminum bar stock in which I need to cut a quarter inch wide slot one half inch deep. Could I use both outside dado blades to a 1/4 inch wide slot one half inch deep in the bar stock? If it's OK then at what speed and depth of cut? Can I do the cut in one pass? Any other consid...

Sawdust catcher?

I was looking at a SS pen making video and could not identify what he had hanging on the bottom of his SS.

My best guess is it is some sort of sawdust catcher. Anyone have any info on this? How well does it work?

Re: Trump Tax Cut

I can only address my experience. I have no complaints about the "new" VA. I got out of the USMC in 1974 with service connected hearing loss and some other injuries. They gave me a percentage and pocket change but nothing else. I tried the VA several times over the years but still nothing....

Re: Pipe Clamps using electrical conduit?

I may be wrong but what would you need to clamp so tightly that it would bend a 3/4" pipe? Any examples would be appreciated.

Let me know how the aluminum works out.

Here is the video that gave me the idea.

Pipe Clamps using electrical conduit?

I am going to add some 3/4 Bessie pipe clamps to my shop. I saw a video on you tube where the guy said he used electrical conduit for the pipe instead of the normal black pipe. Supposed to be easier glue cleanup, will not mark the wood, weight etc. Has anyone here tried using the electrical conduit ...

Re: Fence between main and aux table not parallel to blade

This is a great post. For some reason I never thought about checking the alignment on my auxiliary table. I always ASSumed it was good to go. What a dumb assumption on my part.
