Interesting thread! I also disagree with Derek. If they take the rest of the US, they have to take Kansas too! No sense in leaving us out! I have heard for years that Social Security could be funded if they remove the earnings cap for it like is done with Medicare. I think that the current limit of...

So the common folks should just put their faith and money with some guy who will manage it for you. Someone like Bernie Madoff. He wasn't common folk and he knew how to handle your money. The key is diversification. Bernie scammed people who were looking for crazy returns and go what they deserved....

In order to realize a dividend payment from an IRA invested in a high income mutual fund equal to what you would receive from SS each month you would need a principle of at least 1/2 million dollars. Do you believe most low or middle income workers would have the discipline to accumulate and hold o...

Paul, I agree with you on this. The problem is most common folks are not good at managing their own investments in the stock market and stand the risk of losing much of their money. It sure would be nice if there were mutual funds available that didn't have management fees or front end loads in whi...

Balanced budgets- period. No war without the money to pay for it. But it's not that simply, unfortunately. :( We've paid into this system all our lives and these guys have spent it faster than it's coming in. Granted the babyboomers are retiring and that's going to really eat up the fund. But remem...

I know, I know oh let me answer, I know. :D The jobs are all overseas because the rich aren't happy with billions, they believe they need 10's of billions. I saw a $150 million dollar private yacht on TV today. Do you realize just to take it for a day cruise cost more than most of the middle class ...

According to the CBO fiscal years trail actual years by 1. Bush's budgets were 2002 - 2009 and Obama's are 2010 - 2017. You are correct that our national debt was 10.6 trillion when Obama took office. If we continued spending at the same spending as Bush's last budget year we would have the followi...

Those in attendance informed her this gathering already had a subject selected. All of which makes me wonder why the American people refuse to gather facts and determine what the facts really are demand and cost containment at the original source, that providing services and the wide array of produ...

It doesn't seem to me as though they are putting anything back or even thinking about it. What they are doing, however, is threatening us that it might not be available when needed. Yeah, we know that. It was stolen. If you did this you would go to jail, only the government can get away with this n...

So does the steel sanding disk but once up to speed it works fine. I would assume that once the dadonator is up to speed its' performance is equal to being mounted on the PowerPro also. If you have only cut 1/2" dados. is there any advantage to having an 8" blade over using a 6" dado...
