Here in the great Northwest our seasons are Really wet, just wet, almost dry, and wet again. People here don't tan they rust. I'm originally from Champaign Il. glad to hear they are getting some rain this year. Went for a visit there last year and could not believe 90's in May. Didn't remember that ...

I am not going to say I don't want the Power Pro upgrade. I even started saving up for one. But I found that I was putting off other things that I want to do to make my shop and woodworking better. Like better storage, a mobile workbench and better heating system. If the upgrade ever seems worth the...

I would like to relate my recent Post Office story. See if this makes good business sense to you. I ship 30 to 40 packages a week through the PO. I generate the shipping labels on line and simply drop them off to the Post Office nearest my house. One of my packages was returned a couple of days ago...

The get out your best dress shirt sounds about the best. I am sure that would make it work. The can was a new can I had bought in anticipation of this upgrade knowing the legs were rusted and what better time to take care of it. I am certain that customer service would have taken care of the problem...

Remember, shopsmith is a production on demand company these days. They aren't in the business of making/selling hundreds of an SPT a month. As such, they are probably going to batch up orders. I imagine this will eventually be similar to the one-time-tool thing that woodpecker does, or the batching...

I have always considered myself a conservative. Both financially and in life. I proudly served my country for twenty years in the U. S. Navy protecting it from Socialism and Communism or so I was told. I remember the words of JFK and did what I could for my country. Today I see a Socialist in the Wh...

On a Shopsmith bandsaw, the upper wheel should be canted slightly back such that the back of the blade runs against the guide bearing on the left hand side of the saw. You should check to see if the upper wheel is still canted back. You can do this with a straight edge and compare it to the lower w...

I bought a set of these last month as part of a big SS order and haven't gotten around to installing them...I want to clean and paint the legs as long as I have them off for the installation and just haven't had the time. We're closing escrow on a new house next month that includes a detached works...

For those of you with a P. O. Box that would like to have UPS and FEDEX deliver to your P. O. Box USPS has a service for that. You use the Post Office Street Address with your P. O. Box number. Of course the Post Office charges a small yearly fee for this service but it is an option.
