Advice please!

What would you experienced woodworkers advise regarding the installation of an air compressor in a 30x50 shop? I am considering an American Industrial compressor with an upright 80-gallon tank, 180 psi, 5hp 3cyl. Baldor motor, 50 % duty cycle, 24 cfm.

Help regarding a 2011 Craftsman 20" drill press

I quite recently purchased a very nice used Craftsman 20" drill press (model 137.229200, 2hp, 12 speeds, 67" height, large table, 325 lbs). I would like to locate and purchase an owner manual for it. I also interested in any user experienced advice regarding this model of Craftsman dp.

Differences

I have found a Shopsmith 10E (serial 10074) for $150. It comes with a custom built cabinet, saw guard, lathe knives, chuck, sanding disk and paper, etc. The unit is in decent condition and is operable.

What are the various differences between the 10E and 10ER?

Re: Shipping

Also, what might the crated dimensions be for a Sawsmith2000 table saw?

Shipping

Advice is needed. I am looking for shipper suggestions regarding who can pickup, ship and deliver a Sawsmith2000 table saw from the Chicago area to east-central Kansas? What might the shipping weight of a Sawsmith2000 be?
What other considerations might there be? Thanks for any help.

An easy one day drive will put you on the loading dock of the factory from whence that headstock came. I'd contact Shopsmith, in Dayton Ohio if I wasn't up to doing the work myself. What seems to be your major problem. Maybe we can resolve it right here on the forum. About all we can't do is oil it...

Building a new shop

Simply by overlapping two 16' 2x4's between the existing trusses.
