Memories
Bud,
Very nice work, job well done! You brought back memories for me! Over 30 years ago, I made 17 breadboxes, and sold them all the first day at a local church craft show.
Never kept one for myself, and regretting it now!
Again, Great Job!

Help for New and Old Woodturners
Hi Everyone, I have not posted in a while but came back this morning, and read several posts dealing with turning, and various problems experienced by members of this forum. Several weeks ago, I learned that James (Jim) Rodgers, founder of the Mount Diablo Woodturning Center, that teaches woodturnin...

Dusty, I would not worry about it! Folks that have weekly yard sales are the ones that should be concerned. Many cities limit the number of sales, or require a permit. They are the ones that are running a business for profit. A yard sale once in a while is not going to attract attention, nor will an...

Preferred Joints
A combination of glue and pocket hole joinery does make for a very strong joint....just not sure if it is the strongest! One of the attractions is that the joint is quick and easy to make.

Owners of the New Kindle Fire HD
I purchased the first Kindle Fire when they came out. I am very satisfied with the Kindle Fire. Because I am an avid reader, I take my Kindle everywhere. There is something else that you may or may not be aware of.... Amazon offers a "Prime Membership" which gives you free two day shipping...

Today in my shop (frank talk of stop collars)
Ed, I just wanted to say "Thank You" for opening my eyes. I have the adjustable collar, and a couple for my tailstock. But, over the years, for some reason, the light blub never came on for other uses, until I read your post. The adjustable split collars are the answer for me. I went to bo...
