Thanks for the suggestions. I had thought about using contact cement for the drive sleeve but the sleeve needs to be stretched and fitted over the drum. I didn't think I could do that with the instant bond of contact cement. So I ordered a tube of 3M industrial rubber adhesive #4799 and will try that.

Belt Sander Drive Sleeve Replacement

I just ordered a new rubber drive drum sleeve for my SS belt sander. I would appreciate tips and advice on selecting and applying adhesive to the drum and any other comments on the replacement process.
