I think the current list is up around 200 items on Ebay. I don't use Craig's List, due to the problems that have happened in my area.
I am on the Kansas Side.

More Help
Having just recently recovered from a hard drive crash, you are in for some long days! Most of the programs you had, probably won't work on your new computer, unless you re-install them. Then you face the problem of your old programs being compatible with the current Windows Version. There are some ...

Proud Owner
I originally puchased a SS 500 for $200, and with a little TLC, it became the "Most Favored" in my shop for well over 20 years. I used it to teach youngsters woodworking basics in 4H, and my sons made several projects while they were still home. I have since purchased a 520 and "loane...

New Headstock from SS
Remember when we used to work on our own cars? Electronics and computer driven devices have pretty well put that type of work out of our reach, without considerable additional investments. My fear is the same for a SS headstock that is computerized. We have all seen the labels "break this seal ...

Rare Finds
Ask someone at HD or where ever for Homasote? and see the looks you get. We used to use it as a sound deadner? for Model Train boards.

I can still remember the first time this happened to me. It sent shivers up my spine, just like the sound of a childs head hitting the floor after a bad fall. Fortunately nothing broke except my pride for being so stupid. I was lucky that I didn't have a vital body part in the way, or it could have ...

Thanks for the report. I have been trying to decide whether it would be worth the money, and you may have just made up my mind.

Hands On Magazine
I have many issues, but I am not sure that I have them all. I don't want to part with them, but the CD's that Shopsmith sells contain every plan that was published in the issues that I have. I also purchased the bound volumes of the plans, so that if I am feeling like I need to look at something in ...

Molding Package
On another forum, Wood Magazine I believe, the question was posted, "What is your least favorite tool?" So far, it has been the Molding Package. Most were Craftsman, but the same comments came out loud and clear. The tool seems to breed horror stories. I have the Craftsman and a Shopsmith ...

Humidity
I fight my basement more than anything, which is worse in the Summer, even with the AC running. I will run the dehumidifier then, and that seems to work. I just remember pulling the cars into the garage at the end of a day of woodworking and seeing all of the dampness collect on the floor. I rarely ...
