Sand narrow edges and wide surfaces, horizontally or vertically! Quickly remove mill marks from curved work pieces that have been cut on Bandsaw or Scroll Saw or contours with the end roller. When mounted on your Mark V, the Belt Sander lets you sand end to end, miter and bevel cuts quickly, accurately and swirl free. Using simple jigs, the Belt Sander can sharpen tools and perform other special applications. Belt Sander features include: Multi-purpose table, Contour sanding on end roller, Automatic tensioning knob and Dust collection hookup. Exclusive tensioning knob releases quickly for easy belt removal and, when the new belt is in place, returns to the proper tension setting immediately. Cast-iron Belt Sander worktable measures a full 6" x 9". Use the table across the belt, parallel to it on either side or at any angle for sanding stock up to 14" wide. Use a rip fence to ensure precise 90 degree corners when sanding edges. When used with your Mark V Miter Gauge, mount the table over the belt for greater accuracy and control when sanding mitered edges, bevels and chamfers. Will not work on ER, M2.Belt size 6"x 48", Table size 6"x 9". Recommended speeds 1150-1900 Rpm's. Coupler needed for mounting to Mark V or Power Station.
