The independently powered variable feed rate motor adapts to your material, giving almost every piece of stock a superior finish. The Planer has a separate feed motor, independent of the cutter-head motor, to power the feed rollers, without robbing the power needed for planing. This insures better planing performance and produces a true variable feed rate because each of the motors is dedicated to its own function. The 12" x 4" throat capacity allows you to surface boards up to a foot wide smoothly and quickly in a single pass. Solid, heavy-duty 151 pound Planer is easily moved with the optional casters (555353). The Planer operates on 110 volt 15 amp household current. There is no need for costly rewiring. A full 28" long, the Planer Table is the longest of all 12" Planers in the industry.
