Earlier Model 500 Mark V's were produced with a single bearing quill that could generate runout and wobble that will jeopardize the precision of your drilling, turning and other operations. This dual bearing quill will solve that problem and improve your results on virtually every project.
Installs easily in less than an hour by following the detailed instructions.
Fits Mark V units only. Standard on Mark V units produced after 11/01/84.
Note: Not compatible with Shopsmith ER or M2 models. Will not fit older Mark V units with the gilmer drive system.
