Woodcraft and Shopsmith announce a new partnership to bring Shopsmith products and demonstrations to the convenience of Woodcraft stores.
“The recent partnership with Woodcraft brings two great brands together in a way that should provide a great advantage to both Woodcraft & Shopsmith Customers.”
– Robert Folkerth, Shopsmith President.
Woodcraft has long been a favorite of the most serious of woodworkers. Whether professional or serious hobbyist, the Woodcraft stores are a trusted name for the best sources of tools, choice wood stock and community.
Shopsmith has been the well-recognized leader in multi-purpose woodworking tools since 1953. Many families own a Mark V and often times they were passed down through the generations. Even though the original Mark V is still a great product today, Shopsmith has continually listened to the feedback of our customers which has translated into significant product upgrades and resulted in the New MARK 7 and the Shopsmith PowerPro®.”
Shopsmith is also no stranger to live demos. It has long been proven that this is the best way to really experience the advantages of a Shopsmith. Over the years, you may have seen them at your local shopping mall, in your local Lowe’s store, home shows and many state fairs! These live demos are about to get even better.
April 29 & 30 Alpharetta, GA
On April 29th and 30th at the Woodcraft Store in Alpharetta, GA, Woodcraft and Shopsmith will kick-off their first LIVE in-store demonstration of a Shopsmith MARK 7. Each demonstration will walk visitors through the use of each of the MARK 7’s seven premier tools. You will witness seamless transitions from tool to tool and learn how to leverage the tools to create beautiful, timeless pieces, save money as a do-it-yourselfer, or make money by selling your craft.
7 Tools in 1 – The Same High Quality You Get from Individual Tools with More Efficiency, Less Cost, and Less Space!
Some people are surprised that a multipurpose tool can have the same great quality that individual tools can provide. When people see the Shopsmith in action, they are amazed by how sturdy, powerful and how it is an efficient, space saver. It is also adaptable with movable surfaces. It is surprising to see how effectively the MARK 7 works in a very small area. The transformation capability and the conservative footprint of the tool combine to make the most out of a small shop.
The Ultimate Upgrade – the Shopsmith PowerPro®
Seeing a demonstration of the difference the PowerPro® can make is not to be missed. This high tech component of the MARK 7 is also something that you can add as an upgrade a Mark V. It controls the power output as it runs. It saves power and can adapt, during a cut, to boost the torque when you need it. It is as easy as 1-2-3 to make your Mark V a new MARK 7: 1) Upgrade the Table System; 2) Replace the headstock with the PowerPro; 3) Add Tilt Both Ways Capability. The new MARK 7 will do everything your Mark V did – PLUS – It will do it better!
This new alliance provides more access to Shopsmith’s LIVE Demonstrations to a community of serious woodworkers.
