Shopsmith allows you to equip your MARK V with your choice of
three different Work Table & Extension Table Configurations to
match the types of work you're planning to do.

Here's a brief overview explanation of the three available models
and the overall capacities of each. See the next page for a
comparison table showing ALL of the differences in features and
capacities for each of the different Table Systems.
BASIC MARK V W/ STANDARD TABLE SYSTEM:
If your plans don't currently include many projects that require you to cut up large panels of particleboard, plywood or similar sheet goods, this may be the best model for you to start out with.
This Basic Model comes equipped with one rigid mounted Extension Table offering a 50" ripping capacity…and the Standard Rip Fence with a single T-slot on top for mounting Stops, optional Vertical Mount Featherboards, Lamps and similar accessories
MARK V W/ EXPANDED TABLE SYSTEM
The MARK V with with our Expanded Table System adds two Floating Extension Tables, four Connecting Tubes and two Telescoping Legs to the Basic MARK V above.
This System incorporates the Standard Fence described above and provides a great deal of additional workpiece support over the Basic MARK V.
The Floating Tables & Telescoping Legs extend your ripping capacity to a full 98".
MARK V WITH PRO FENCE TABLE SYSTEM:
The MARK V with Model 520 Pro Fence Table System starts with the same components as the Expanded Table System Model described above and delivers the same 98" rip capacity.
To this, it adds Adjustable Direct Reading Rip Scales that indicate ripping widths at a glance; new, more rigid extruded aluminum Work Table and Extension Table Rails with quick locking Knobs; and a different Rip Fence, featuring dual fast-acting Locking Levers (instead of one Lever and one Knob) and a T-Slot in each face, allowing the use of standard Shopsmith Featherboards as hold-downs.
