The unique quill feed mechanism helps you move the disc up to 4-1/4 inches toward or away from the workpiece with micro-precision so you can sand one or multiple project components to a precise width or length.
Dust collection is provided via the MARK V Lower Saw Guard. Just attach any dust collector or shop vacuum to its built-in port to whisk away the majority of your sanding dust.
High quality, pressure-sensitive sandpaper discs are available in a variety of grits, as are optional discs featuring a time-saving Velcro® fastening system.
A unique, optional Conical Disc Sanding System produces swirl-free edges or surfaces and a special guide is available for use with it to sharpen your Shopsmith Lathe Chisels and Shaper Cutters.
